Though eating disorders hide in shame, secrets and silence┬ámy experience has been that they’re actually quite noisy and chaotic. Journaling served first as a way to process through the eating disorder thought and emotions and then my own gender dysphoria once the eating disorder started to quiet down. I’m excited that June Alexander is creating a space for people to share their writings, arts, experiences and other healthy forms of self expression.
